Today’s medical office seeks qualified professionals to provide efficiency in the day-to-day operation of the healthcare facility.
Since job growth is expected to be stronger than average, a formal education is highly recommended to be competitive.
The Medical Office Administration program prepares individuals for an exciting career in the managerial and support roles of the administrative medical office professional.

What will I learn?

Through studies in medical terminology, computer applications, medical office management, medical insurance and billing, and medical legal issues, as well as specialty areas within the curriculum tracks, students are able to gain the skills necessary to be successful.
The degree is not only available through face-to-face, evening, and hybrid courses, but it can also be completed online.
In addition, students are required to complete a Work-Based Learning internship in a medical facility allowing them to receive experience in their chosen career.

The Medical Office Administration curriculum prepares individuals for employment as medical administrative personnel in the ares of medical office, medical billing and coding, dental office, patient services, and medical documents.
