Program Approved

"I want to graduate with a degree, diploma, or certificate and I need to apply for Financial Aid or VA benefits." 

1. All students are required to submit an FTCC Application.  Please complete all sections so that your application can be processed quickly and efficiently.  You may submit it on-line, print and mail it, fax it, or drop it off in person at the Admissions Office.

2. You should begin the application process for Financial Aid and/or VA Benefits as soon as you submit your FTCC application.  For both Financial Aid and VA Benefits, application deadlines are enforced.

3. Depending on the program you choose, a Placement Assessment may be required.  All Associate degrees require the Placement Assessment. 

4. Submit an Official High School Transcript or official GED scores.  You must complete the transcript request form and mail it to the institution.  Some institutions require a fee for transcripts.

5. Submit Official College Transcript(s) from all colleges that you have attended.  You must complete the transcript request form and mail it to the institution.  Some institutions require a fee for transcripts.

6. You must request program approval through Counseling Services either in person or on line.  Counselors will evaluate your academic record and assist you in accomplishing your educational and career goals.

7. You are now ready to Register for Courses.

"I want to take courses of interest to me and I will pay for the courses myself."

2. Depending on the course you choose, a Placement Assessment and/or transcripts may be required to confirm you have met the course prerequisites as listed in the course description.

3. You are now ready to Register for Courses and pay your tuition and fees.
