Mission

The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for the exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship among scholars, and for stimulation of interest in containing excellence.

Eligibility

Any student who has at least a 3.5 average in a program which grants an associate of arts, associate of science, or associate of applied science degree. Must have completed 12 semester hours in the program and have 2 semesters remaining at FTCC.

How to Join

• Attend an orientation meeting held by the chapter.
• Pay the registration fee.
• Attend the induction ceremony held in the Fall or the Spring.
