Technical Honor Society
(NTHS)
What is
NTHS?
NTHS is the acknowledged
leader in the recognition of outstanding student achievement in
career and technical education. Thousands of schools and
colleges are affiliated with the Society. Member schools
agree that NTHS encourages higher scholastic achievement,
cultivates a desire for personal excellence, and helps top
students find success in today's highly competitive workplace.
To
be invited for membership in NTHS students must:

Be
enrolled in a one or two year vocational or technical program
at Fayetteville Technical Community College

Possess
a minimum GPA of 3.5
-
Have
completed a minimum of 15 credit hours in their curriculum
at FTCC
NTHS
members receive: the NTHS custom certificate, member pin,
ID card, window decal, white graduation tassel, official NTHS
diploma seal, and three personal letters of recommendation for
employment, college admission, or scholarships. Students
may also gain access to our Online Career Center including these
valuable services: MonsterTRAK, Career Safe and Career
Key. Full-time students inducted as NTHS members prior to
January are also eligible to apply for scholarships available
through our website.
NTHS
is committed to the elimination of discrimination based upon

One-time dues
are only $45.00 ($25 NTHS + $20 that our FTCC Chapter will use
for incidental expenses and to purchase your distinctive
neckdrape medallion to be worn at graduation.) More
