Student Services mission is...

...to provide courteous, professional and quality services to the College's diverse student population and the community by promoting and enhancing student satisfaction and success; improving community quality of life; providing learner-centered services and enhancing communication with students, faculty, and staff.

Because Fayetteville Technical Community College is committed to helping students succeed, many additional services are available to help you meet your goals.  Each office is staffed with caring professionals who will discuss your individual situation.  Click the links below for specific offices and information in that area.

Admissions - adheres to an "Open Door" admissions policy. High school graduates, persons achieving a North Carolina equivalency certificate (GED), and adults who show potential for post high school education may be admitted to courses which are appropriate to their educational potential 
Credit For Prior Learning - is non-college or experience-based learning that has been attained outside the sponsorship of accredited postsecondary education institutions.
Career Center - provides assistance and information about choosing a major, exploring job interests, learning about job requirements and salaries, and selecting a career
Counseling Services - composed of professional educators with extensive training in counseling and guidance, who assist students in developing skills and attitudes needed to deal effectively with their surroundings 
Financial Aid - provides students with financial aid assistance through loan programs, scholarships, and federal grants
Registrar-- conducts registration for classes, maintain all academic records including transcripts for current and former students 
Special Populations--provides support services to students who have documented disabilities.  The support services are provided in an effort to level the playing field for disabled students at Fayetteville Technical Community College.  The goal is to also stimulate independence and bring a sense of self worth to the students' life.
Student Activities-- processes student ID cards, provides resources to clubs and student government association, and coordinates student activities such as the Spring Fling and Fall Festival 
Testing-- supports academic programs through management of the placement testing program 
Veterans Services--operates one-stop shop for all VA Educational Benefits related questions and services
