Admission and Student Registration

The Spring Lake Campus provides curriculum students with full-service registration. Students can take their placement test, speak to a counselor, and register for classes. For students' convenience, Kiosks are located in the lobby area that will allow you to fill out an application, check your student-email/WebAdvisor, or fill out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  Testing services are offered by appointment. Counseling services are available by appointment or on a walk-in basis. Students may speak to a Financial Aid Counselor by appointment or on a walk-in basis. Please call 678-1000 to schedule a counseling or testing appointment or Financial Aid services.

Cashier Window
The Cashier Window is located in the Spring Lake Campus lobby and offers students a convenient place to make tuition and fee payments. FTCC accepts the following forms of payment: checks, money orders, cashier's checks, debit cards, Visa and Master Card. When making payment directly to a cashier, cash is also accepted.
You can visit our business office Monday - Friday from 8am - 4:30pm (Closed for lunch from 12pm-1pm)
A Drop Box is located in the foyer of Room 116 for fee payments after business hours.

Book Store
Students may purchase books or necessary class materials at the Bookstore window located in the Spring Lake Campus lobby, adjacent to the cashier's window.

Computers - Open Lab
The Spring Lake Campus open computer lab provides 24 computers and 2 printers for students use. Lab technicians are available to assist students in the Open Lab. Visit our lab on the Spring Lake Campus during the following hours:

MON, TUE, & THU: 8am - 5pm
WED: 8am - 9:30pm
FRI: 8am - 3pm
SAT: 8am - 1pm

Fitness Center
Curriculum students, Continuing Education students (enrolled in courses for 8 or more weeks), Faculty, Staff, Retirees and Board Members are eligible for fitness center membership. The cost of membership for curriculum students, faculty and staff is $5.00 a semester. Upon completion of the application packet, the $5.00 fee may be paid at the cashier's window on the Spring Lake Campus or on Fayetteville. Please stop by the Fitness Center for more information on joining and the hours of operation.

I-PASS Center
Provides one-on-one tutoring for developmental Math, English, and Reading, on both campuses. We also offer the use of a mini laptops and calculators, advising and registration for developmental students, and counseling for academic as well as personal needs. We also offer participation in the Townsend Press Scholarship Program, Accuplacer test-preparation with free tutoring, and a general study hall area.
Visit our I-PASS Center at the Spring Lake Campus on Monday - Thursday from 9am - 4pm.

Library
Visit the Spring Lake Branch of the Cumberland County Public Library at 101 Lakeview Blvd. The Spring Lake Branch Library houses over 11,600 books, videos, and audiotapes; 15 computers and WiFi Internet access. The Spring Lake Library
maintains a computer station just for FTCC students and text book reserve specifically for FTCC students. Free Public Library cards are available for students who do not live in Cumberland County; please contact the library for requirements.
