What is
SACS?
SACS stands
for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It's
one of seven
regional accrediting agencies
recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. SACS
consists of three commissions. The Commissions on Colleges
accredits institutions of higher learning.
