FAYETTEVILLE, NC – July 18, 2014 – Fayetteville Technical Community College will host an Open House and Student Orientation session on August 7, 2014, in F Wing, at the Bragg Training and Education Center (BTEC), from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Bragg Training and Education Center is located at 4520 Knox and Randolph Street (Building 1-3571).
The purpose of the event is to inform military students and their family members about FTCC curriculum and Continuing Education programs and to assist students with registration and admissions activities. Additionally, students will be able to take the math or English portion of the Accuplacer test and receive instruction on how to effectively use Blackboard and WebAdvisor. Military Service Specialists will be on site to meet with students to discuss their programs and review Joint Service Transcripts.
“We are excited about hosting the event and look forward to working with our students,” said Billy Buckner, Coordinator for Military Programs. “Although we are conducting the Open House on Fort Bragg, all current or potential students are more than welcome to attend. Our goal is to make this a working session that will help our students prepare for the upcoming academic school year.”
