- In the library with a current FTCC I.D. card

North Carolina Libraries for Virtual Education (NC LIVE) is the premier statewide database. It offers online access to complete articles from over 18,000 newspapers, journals, magazines, and encyclopedias. NC LIVE also has over 24,000 electronic books and 400 videos, which includes streaming PBS video. Users will also find thousands of images and maps, and interactive tests and tools through its Learning Express Library.

A comprehensive literary reference database, Literary Reference Center Plus provides users with a broad spectrum of reference information from antiquity to the present day. Contains detailed information in full-text on the most studied authors and their works, as well as literary criticism.

This database draws on the acclaimed social issues series published by Greenhaven Press and other sources, to provide a one-stop source for information on social issues. Access viewpoint articles, topic overviews, statistics, primary documents, links to websites, and full-text magazine and newspaper articles.

Library Use Only This database combines award-winning biographies from respected sources and full-text articles from hundreds of periodicals. Search for people based on one or more personal facts such as birth and death year, nationality, ethnicity, occupation or gender, or combine criteria to create a highly-targeted custom search.

Library Use Only Westlaw is a database especially useful to students in the Paralegal program, and is available on library computers. Users can access cases, regulations, and other legal material at both the federal and state levels. Remote access available by faculty request.

Consumer Health Complete (CHC) is EBSCO's interface designed for the everyday consumer of
health care information. CHC provides convenient access to easily understandable health and medical information. Consumers can search and browse within a medical dictionary and
medical encyclopedias, popular reference books, and magazine articles.

Published by Salem Press, these databases include complete full-text articles identical to the print reference sets in the physical library. The availability of this resource in an electronic format is especially helpful to remote users. Series titles include Great Lives from History, Great Events from History, Critical Surveys of Literature, Genetics and Inherited Conditions, and Encyclopedia of Global Resources.

A database source provided by the North Carolina Community College System and is licensed through the National Library Alliance. Anatomy.TV is a suite of 3D interactive models designed to support the study of human anatomy. Intuitive controls allow the user to zoom, rotate and peel away layers of anatomical structures. This product also allows the user to view these structures in a 360 degree rotation.
