Basic Computer-Integrated Machining (Two Years)

Basic Computer-Integrated Machining is designed to develop fundamental skills in the operation of machine tools including drilling, turning, milling, and grinding. Training in basic measuring, layout, and blueprint reading is also provided. Students will be prepared for employment as entry-level machine operators or machinist apprentices. Credit obtained in these courses may be transferred directly into the Machining Technology associate degree curriculum.
