A student who needs money to assist with college expenses, such as tuition and books, can apply for financial aid. Please review the Financial Aid and Scholarship Handbook 2012-2013 for further information.

• Application Deadline: Students who submit a completed application prior to May 1 for the next academic year, will receive processing preference.

To apply for financial aid:

1. Setup a PIN at http://www.pin.ed.gov.
2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.FAFSA.gov for the year you will be attending FTCC. FTCC's School Code is 007640. Once FTCC receives the FAFSA data from the Department of Education and reviews it, FTCC begins the processing of financial aid.
3. Be admitted into an approved program of study no later than the census date (end of the schedule adjustment period) of each term. Special Credit students are not eligible for financial aid.
4. Monitor your financial aid application progress using your FTCC Gmail account and WebAdvisor for any requests for additional information needed to process your financial aid. FTCC Will only communicate with students via their FTCC Gmail.
5. Processing of an application begins once all requested documents have been submitted to Financial Aid. Only complete packets of requested documents will be accepted by the College.
6. The Net Price Calculator allows prospective students to calculate an estimated net price at an institution using the following basic formula: Price of attendance minus grant aid. For more information, please click here.
