The Department of Defense (DoD) and major defense companies spend billions of dollars each year on subcontracts.  Congressman Robin Hayes will be hosting a Defense Trade Show and Government Procurement Workshop to help you become more involved in doing business with the DoD and these large companies.  Representatives from about 45 large defense contracting firms, such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics and several DoD organizations will be available to answer your questions on how to get subcontracts and also work with the government.  In addition, there will be workshops on many facets of government procurement to answer your specific questions.  Congressman Hayes wants to increase the visibility and knowledge within NC about subcontracting opportunities and provide local businesses with more information about government procurement.
