This course examines the major theories and patterns of adult development from young adulthood to late adulthood. Topics include physical, cognitive, and psychosocial changes with an emphasis on relationships, family patterns, work roles, community interactions, and the challenges of each stage of adulthood. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate a knowledge of adult development and an ability to apply this knowledge to their own lives.
