This course examines American diplomacy from the Colonial period to the present. Topics include the Monroe Doctrine, expansionism and imperialism, the world wars, the Cold War, and America's role in a changing world. Upon completion, students should be able to analyze significant developments and trends in the diplomatic history of the United States.
This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement pre-major and/or elective course requirement.
