This course introduces a variety of lettering forms and covers the manual development of these forms using a variety of materials. Emphasis is placed on developing correct size, design, weight, and proportion in a variety of type styles. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate competence in the rendering of various lettering styles, and their application in effective graphic design.
