The counseling staff, located in the Tony Rand Student Center, is available to assist all students with career plans, personal concerns, or educational counseling. To provide students with greater access to counseling services, counselors are available Monday through Thursday, from 8:00am to 7:00pm, and Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm during regular school hours. Students are seen on a walk-in basis, or appointments may be made by calling 910-678-8419 during non-peak times. Please know that we are here to help you. The counseling staff is composed of professional with extensive training and competencies in counseling and guidance. They are experienced in assisting students in developing skills and attitudes needed to associate effectively with their surroundings. Responsibilities of counseling are shared equally between counselor and student, and the counselor respects the ability of the student to make realistic choices among options presented.
