Fayetteville Technical Community College has a genuine commitment to serving the educational needs of the entire community. No matter your personal interests or occupational training needs, the Community Services and Extension Education Department offers traditional and online classes to assist you in reaching these goals.
Many of today’s jobs require employees to continue training and upgrade their skills while on the job. The Extension Education Department offers a multitude of courses that will allow you to advance your skills and qualifications and assist in preparing you for a new career. These topics include Foreign Language, General Contractor’s License Preparation, Effective Teaching Training, American Sign Language, Private Investigator Training, and more. Training is also conveniently available through a large selection of online programs, such as FTCC Medical Online Courses, FTCC Online Career Training Courses, and Learn FTCC Courses.
For individuals seeking classes to fulfill their personal interests, the Community Services Department has something for everyone! These personal interest classes range from Academic and Test Preparation, Art, Cooking, Furniture Upholstery, Home Improvement, Motorcycle Basic Rider Training, Photography, and much more! Educational opportunities are also available for children during the summer months (June-August), and this program, called Summerscapes, consists of over eighty children’s camps each summer!
