Business Administration (A25120)
The Business Administration curriculum is designed to introduce students to the various aspects of the free enterprise system. Students will gain a fundamental knowledge of business functions, processes, and an understanding of business organizations in today’s global economy.
Course work includes accounting, business law, economics, finance, management, and marketing. Skills related to the application of these concepts are developed through the study of computer applications, communication, problem solving, team building, and decision making.
Graduates are prepared for employment opportunities in large to small businesses or industries, government agencies, and financial institutions.
In addition to the degree program, Business Administration offers a variety of specialized certificates such as Small Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Contract Management, and Organizational Leadership. A business foundations certificate is available for high school students in the Career and College Promise program.
