ADMISSIONS PROCESS
1. For FTCC online application click here. For a Program Approved student checklist click here. CFNC.org is a secure site. Please put your social security number on your application for prompt processing of your admissions application and financial aid.
IMPORTANT NOTE: WHEN KEYING YOUR CFNC ADMISSIONS APPLICATION, PLEASE PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO “RESIDENCY INFORMATION”. MAKE SURE ALL AREAS ARE COMPLETE BECAUSE THIS WILL DETERMINE YOUR RESIDENCY STATUS (IN-STATE versus OUT-OF-STATE).

Those applicants who are not seeking a degree or program approval, or visiting from another educational institution and will pay for their courses themselves, are coded as Special Credit students. For FTCC online application click here. For a Special Credit student checklist click here.
2. Provide FTCC with your official high school transcript in a sealed envelope or your official GED scores. If applicable, submit your official sealed transcripts from ALL colleges or universities attended. For Transcript Request Form click here. Home -schooled students must submit a copy of the home-school’s approved registration from the state in which they are registered and an official sealed and notarized transcript including the graduation date.
NOTE: ALL OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE IN A SEALED INSTITUTIONAL ENVELOPE.
3. To contact Testing to take an entry assessment (ACCUPLACER) click here. The assessment may be waived depending upon SAT or ACT scores, degree earned, or successful completion of a transferable college-level English and/or Mathematics course.
4. Once all your documents have been received by the Admissions Office and you have tested, you may meet with a Counselor for approval into your program of study. Click here for Counseling Services.
NOTE: Financial Aid and Admissions Applications are separate documents. Please complete both forms in a timely manner. To apply for VA benefits or Financial Aid, a student must complete these requirements and be officially approved for a program of study.
