FTCC     ARCHITECTURAL    TECHNOLOGY    ORGANIZATION

The exhibited pieces are the work of students in the Architectural Technology program at
Fayetteville Technical Community College. These works were completed in a range of media —
ink, pencil, color pencil, marker and watercolor — as studies in architectural presentation.
Individual prints are available as a fundraiser for the endowment of the Mace-Bell Scholarship.

The Mace-Bell Scholarship is in honor of Ron Mace and Charles Bell. Charles Bell, who taught
from 1969 to 2002, is the founder of the Architectural Technology program at FTCC. Ron Mace
was also an instructor at FTCC. He established preliminary guidelines for the NC Accessibility Code
that governs the design/construction of handicap accessible buildings. Once funded, the
scholarship will be awarded to future architectural students to help pay for tuition and supplies.
