Position Vacancy:

Network Administrator - Job #07-83

Duties:

To supervise and maintain the College’s local area network.  To plan and direct activities related to computer systems network infrastructure, connectivity, and implementation.  Install, maintain and monitor the hardware of the local area network, to include routers, switches, firewalls, DHCP servers, DNS servers, packet filters, intrusion detection, and VPN gateways.  Administer LAN and WAN configuration to include address assignments, protocol and routing and VLAN configuration.  Will receive direction from the Director of Management Information Services and be responsible for supervision of senior networking staff.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirement:  A Bachelor’s Degree in a network related field or equivalent, with at least three years of network management experience.  Communication and interpersonal skills are essential.  Applicants not meeting this minimum requirement will not be considered for this position.

Position Vacancy:

Director of Student Financial Aid Services - Job #07-85

Duties:

Develop, plan, implement, and administer federal, state, private and institutional student aid programs, including VA benefits, loans, grants, scholarships and work-study employment; monitor the student aid process to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and fiscal accountability.  Secure funding from both public and private sources.  Represent the College to special interest groups, private interests, community groups and the general public.  Direct and evaluate student aid policies to determine appropriate allocation of funds to specific categories of students.  Coordinate federal, state and College programs to meet reporting responsibilities; act as a liaison with federal, state and private agencies regarding student aid.  Direct and administer the College scholarship program; develop and evaluate recommendations for related policies and procedures.  Develop and maintain effective information dissemination and public relations on student aid matters.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirement: A Masters degree from an accredited college or university in business administration or a closely related field; or equivalent. Four years of progressively responsible administrative or staff experience in Veterans Administration and financial aid (Title IV) assistance programs.  (Applicants not meeting this minimum requirement will not be considered for this position.)  

Preferred: Experience using Datatel and processing applications related to financial aid programs.  Effective oral and written communication skills.  Supervisory experience.

Position Vacancy:

Associate Degree Nursing Instructor - (10 month) - Job #07-81

Duties:

Assume full-time position in the Nursing Department.  Involvement in classroom and clinical teaching. Responsible for participation in college and departmental functions.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirement:  BS in Nursing and completion of Master of Science in Nursing within 5 years from employment date.  Two years of employment in direct patient care as a registered nurse.  Must be computer literate.  Must have begun or completed the following immunizations: Hepatitis B series (or surface antibody/antigen), MMR, Rubella titer, Rubeola titer, Tetanus Toxiod (or Tdap), Varicella (Varivax) Vaccine (or titer), PPD (within past 12 months), Basic Physical.  Must have begun and remain current with required immunizations.   

*Applicants not meeting this minimum requirement will not be considered. 

Preferred: Two years of teaching experience in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing.

Secretary II—Job Placement - Job #07-88

Duties:

Perform a variety of complex and responsible clerical duties for assigned area; provide a variety of detailed information to students, faculty, and staff; maintain complex and detailed records and files; assist staff in research and special projects.

Qualifications: Minimum Requirement: Associate Degree in Office Systems Technology or related field and one year of experience, or two years of increasingly responsible clerical experience; must be proficient in Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2003 (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), and data entry skills; must have good oral and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with the public. Applicants not meeting this minimum requirement will not be considered for this position.

Position Vacancy:

Business Administration Instructors (10 Month Contract)  - Job #07-87                      

Duties:

Primary duties may include teaching day, evening, weekend, and distance education classes in Business Administration both on and off campus.  Participate in faculty committees, student advising, and other college activities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirement: Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or a Master’s Degree with 18 graduate hours in Business Administration or related field.    Applicants not meeting this minimum requirement will not be considered. 

Preferred:  Teaching experience at the Community College Level and possess good computer skills.

FTCC is now accepting applications for the following
part-time instructors to teach Huskins Program classes.

The Huskins Program consists of high school student taking college level courses. The classes will be taught in various locations within Cumberland County (FTCC main campus, Cumberland County High Schools, Private Schools). The majority of the courses will be taught during the daytime hours and online.

 

I.                   The following part-time positions require a Masters Degree in the subject area (or) a Masters Degree with 18 graduate hours in the subject area to be eligible to apply.
